He and is minions tax the peoples of the land heavily for communicating with each other. The longer they talk the more gold they have to fork out. Those who do not pay have their tongues ripped out! In that land there lived a collector of sounds and pictures. Every day he went about his business of recording sounds and painting works of art. One day he had the idea of sharing them with everybody, so he put them in a public place so everyone could see them. However the pictures he chose were cursed and any who saw them had to describe them in detail to all they met. The Demon Prince got rich and the people got poorer. Eventually a hero called Oftel arose and gave the Demon Prince a mighty slap on the wrist. But the Demon Prince gave him a productivity related salary and that was the end of the matter. Eventually an angry mob suggested to the collector in no uncertain terms that he might like to hang his pictures in a gallery so only those who wanted to describe them in detail had to look at them.
